Faculty Guidelines:

  • All student testers will need to schedule a testing session HERE for the Ontario Testing Center.
  • Complete and submit a Faculty Test Request Form (FTRF) providing all important details about your test. It is important to provide all of the information requested (time limit, aids permitted, password(s), and beginning and ending dates for each test). Test Center staff will adhere strictly to your written test instructions. Please make sure we have all of the information necessary to provide your students with timely and efficient service.
  • A FTRF must accompany each test; however, if the instructions and deadlines are the same for every test in a series for a particular course, only one FTRF for the series is required.
  • The Test Center is designed to accommodate Accuplacer placement testing, Pearson VUE testing, distance education/online testing for distance education/online students, state tests and a very limited number of live-class make up tests.
  • You should understand that the volume of testers is at its highest during Mid-Term Week, the last week of the quarter, and finals week.
  • To avoid any inconvenience to your students and to ensure that Test Center staff members have sufficient time to process your FTRF(s), we ask that you submit the FTRF at least two workdays before the authorized "begin date."
  • Students will not be allowed to take tests after the ending date on the FTRF without your authoriztion.
  • Inform your students in advance as to when your tests will be available in the Test Center (begin/end dates), how much time you have allotted, test center hours, and what aids (notes, calculators, etc.) they should bring.
  • If instructions more detailed than what can be put on the FTRF are necessary, provide a separate sheet for these instructions. Please make sure students and Test Center personnel know how to contact you if they have questions about your test(s).
  • Students must present a current photo IDto take tests in the Test Center (i.e.威尼斯人娱乐城 ID, driver's license, state issued identification card, military identification, or passport).
  • Please refer your students to the Test Center web pages for a copy of the Student Guide for using the Test Center.
  • You may want to remind your students not to wait until "the last minute" to try and take their exam(s) because space is limited.
  • Finals week will be for final exams only. Make up exams can be taken prior to, or after, finals week.
  • If you choose to pick up your exams from the Test Center, please make sure you introduce yourself to the proctor on duty. If the proctor does not recognize you, s/he will request to see a photo ID. Please be prepared at all times to honor this request.
  • If a designee will retrieve your tests, note the person's name on the FTRF or send an email to the Test Center in advance. Also, please make sure the designee has a photo ID.
  • If you chose to have your tests returned via "Interoffice Mail", they will be returned in a secure envelope.

Advise your students to maintain the College's standards relative to academic integrity. Test Center staff members are required to document and report any evidence of, or the appearance of, academic dishonesty.

Student Guidelines:

  • Complete and submit a Test Cover Sheet (TCS) providing details about yourself and your test. It is important to provide all of the information requested. Test Cover Sheets can be found in this Forms and Guidelines page so that you can fill it out and print it before coming to the Test Center, or you will find blank Test Cover Sheets at the Test Center entrance.
  • A TCS must accompany each test. Please complete the Test Cover Sheet before entering the Test Center. You must present the TCS along with a photo ID (威尼斯人娱乐城 Student ID or Drivers License, etc.) to the proctor and sign in on the Log In Sheet on the proctor's desk.
  • NO FOOD, DRINKS, OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE ALLOWED IN THE TEST CENTER.
  • No textbooks, notes, or aids of any kind will be allowed without written permission from the instructor.
  • The Test Center is designed to accommodate Accuplacer placement testing, Pearson VUE testing, distance education/online testing for distance education/online students, state tests and a very limited number of live-class make up tests.
  • Test Center hours vary, and are posted on this website. Appointments are not necessary for any Accuplacer or 威尼斯人娱乐城 tests. All other tests require appointments.
  • Students will not be allowed to take tests after the deadline posted in Canvas for each class. If you need to test after the deadline, you must receive written authorization from your instructor. If this is a test in Canvas, your instructor will need to make the test available. Proctors in the Test Center are unable to do this.
  • You are responsible for knowing the dates when tests will be available to you.
  • Test Center staff will adhere strictly to each instructor's written test instructions.
  • FINALS WEEK WILL BE FOR FINAL EXAMS ONLY. Make up exams can be taken prior to, or after, finals week.

Students are expected to know and to maintain the College's standards relative to academic integrity. Test Center staff members are required to document and report any evidence of, or the appearance of, academic dishonesty to the instructor.
